Camrose winner’s $100K on EXTRA has him planning for the future!

Camrose local Adrian Wilson thought he had won $10,000 until he put on his glasses and saw he had actually won $100,005 on the April 27 EXTRA he added to his LOTTO 6/49 ticket for $1.

The winner checked his ticket in store and immediately had to share the good news.

“My son was in the truck waiting for me and I ran out to tell him!” he laughed.

The Camrose winner said his recent windfall has got him planning for the future.

“This puts me in a much better position for retirement,” he said. “And I can do some renovations on the house as well!”

“Winning is an interesting experience; it’s a good feeling,” he added.

Wilson purchased his winning EXTRA ticket from Camrose Co-Op Eastside Gas Bar at 3910 48 Avenue in Camrose. He won his prize by matching the last six digits selected in the April 27 EXTRA draw—1576930.
