High Prairie local stopped in tracks after instantly winning $615K on LIGHTNING LOTTO!

Rose Belyan is the latest Albertan to win big instantly on LIGHTNING LOTTO! 

The High Prairie local won $615,126.90 on LIGHTNING LOTTO on August 8! 

Belyan said she’d been playing since the game first launched in April and has been excited to see the jackpots grow each day. 

“I was late for work, and had stopped to buy it on the way,” she explained. “The cashier told me I’d won, and I looked at the screen and started reading the number and was shocked.” 

“I just stopped in my tracks,” she continued. “I said, ‘WHAT?!’” 

Belyan is ready to enjoy her surprising six-figure win with her family and friends. 

“This will help me help a lot of people in my life,” she said. “It’s just perfect. A perfect feeling.” 

She purchased her winning LIGHTNING LOTTO ticket at Circle K located at 5219 28 Street in High Prairie. She won her prize by matching all five of the numbers in the LIGHTNING LOTTO selection drawn on August 8: 3, 7, 12, 19, 49.
