The agreement creating the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) was signed in May of 1974, making WCLC one of the first Lottery Corporations in North America.  The Corporation is a joint venture between the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.  WCLC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of two members appointed by each of the member Provinces. Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and Nunavut participate as associate non-voting members.
